Post 2144 has been helping veterans in Holland and western Michigan since 1931. It's time to update our post's facilities to accommodate the men and women who need a little extra help.
We have raised $10,000. to renovate the two existing restrooms in the front of our building to be updated to be ADA accessible. These bathrooms will be equipped with handrails, a lower sink basin, and new ADA compliant toilets.
3.8 million. The number of veterans with a service-connected disability rating in 2014. Of this number, 1.1 million had a rating of 70 percent or higher. A "service-connected” disability is one that was a result of a disease or injury incurred or aggravated during active military service. (2014 American Community Survey).
